ASAM below i ordered from Thailand...this ASAM is tamarind + sugar + salt...but not salty...its sweet + sour....this is the ONE can open my eyes when i sleepy hahhahahahaha...very helpful. Actually i 'm not promoting jeruk and asam...ya...

Jeruk and Asam
What is JERUK?What is ASAM?For me both are same. The popular jeruk or pickle is from Penang. Previous hubby often went to Penang...and if he has time i will request him to buy jeruk.....oishiiii ...not too sour or salty. They use honey and no preservative added. Recently my team mate promoted her friend's pickle that made by themself ... i bought RM5 and result fuh....SEDAP.Talk about pickle ni...Yani-san is the one yg addicted pickle ni ...same with her daughter Alani...mak anak samaje...jangan mare ye..
